Trump Begs MAGA For Donations to Sue CNN For ‘Defamation’ [VIDEO]

Donald Trump threatened CNN with a lawsuit over the network’s reporting of “The Big Lie,” and while no lawsuit has been filed as of yet, Trump is already asking his fanbase to fund his latest litigious lark.

Trump’s lawyers sent CNN a 282-page cease-and-desist order based on the simple notion that Trump still “subjectively believes he won” the 2020 Presidential election, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. “This letter serves as formal notice of the false statements about President Donald J. Trump (“President Trump”) in numerous articles and televised transmissions published by Cable News Network, Inc. (“CNN”) including, but not limited to, those discussed below,” states the letter, dated last Thursday, July 21, giving CNN a deadline of Sunday. “Specifically, the Kafkaesque correspondence focuses on on-air and online use by CNN marque talent and reporters of the term the ‘Big Lie’ in regards to Trump’s repeated assertions that the 2020 election was stolen from him and the GOP.”

Trump is also demanding that the network remove all uses of “Big Lie” and “lying” from articles about his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. There remains no evidence to support any of Trump’s claims that the election was somehow stolen or rigged.
