Trump Back in Touch With Steve Bannon, Wants His Help Overturning Election Results
When Donald Trump first entered the White House, he had a loyal cadre of aides. But as Trump is leaving Washington, many of those staffers are leaving him and hoping they’ll be able to find a new job. Even Rudy Giuliani may not stick around after Trump decided to stiff him on his legal fees.
Close to rock bottom, Trump may be reaching out to those who first propelled him to the White House. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Trump has been in touch with Steve Bannon and asking the former campaign manager how he can overturn the election results.
In advance of her article, Jacobs tweeted, “Trump has repeatedly spoken by phone with Steve Bannon in recent weeks to seek advice on his campaign to overturn his re-election defeat, reconciling with his once-estranged ex White House strategist, sources tell me.”

She continues in the piece, “One person familiar with the matter said the president has sought out allies who would tell him what he wants to hear as he promulgated false claims that the election was stolen from him.”
While Trump had previously fired Bannon, there were seemingly no hard feelings from the former adviser. Bannon regularly touted Trump on his YouTube show. The host, however, has recently been banned from posting on the website.
Bannon was also banned from Twitter back in November. The social media giant cited the political strategists calls for Dr. Anthony Fauci to be beheaded.
