Tomi Lahren Attacks the Alabama Abortion Law in Surprising Fashion
Tomi Lahren has made a career by speaking out against nearly every position that Democrats take. Just last week, the right wing provocateur made news by accidentally proving that gun control works.

There is, however, one issue where Lahren doesn’t toe the Conservative party line, abortion rights. Yesterday afternoon, the pundit surprisingly argued against Alabama’s restrictive new abortion law.
Lahren tweeted, “I will be attacked by fellow conservatives for saying this but so be it, this Alabama abortion ban is too restrictive. It doesn’t save life, it simply forces women into more dangerous methods, other states or countries. You don’t encourage life via blanket government mandate!”

She was right in thinking that she would be attacked by fellow conservatives. Condemnation for her words came soon after the post.
Pro-life advocate Lila Rose, tweeted, “You’ve already said you support the “right” to abortion. Unless you had a change of heart/mind since then, this isn’t a surprise. Also, you’re not ‘attacked’ simply when others disagree. That said, abortion restrictions do save lives. Abortions decrease when limited or banned.”

Another user replied, “If the law was left the way it was, murder and infanticide would be legal. It forces women to think before they engage into premarital sex. Abortion allows a girl or women to have sex, become pregnant without any consequences. There is better alternatives like ADOPTION.”

Lahren, though, also received a number of supportive responses. Actress and activist, Jessica Chastain responded, “Wow this took courage. Thank you for speaking out to protect women.”
