Tiffany Trump has joined the millions of protestors online who are protesting the police killing of George Floyd. Tiffany, who just recently graduated from law school, joined in on the protests during Blackout Tuesday. She blacked out her profile picture on Instagram along with writing a quote from Hellen Keller. The quote reads, ”Alone we can achieve so little; together we can achieve so much.”

Protests began across the country in response to the killing of George Floyd, a black man, after a white police officer knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes. The former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, has been charged with third-degree murder. The protests are about more than George Floyd. Michael Brown, Breona Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery ad so many more African-American people have been killed by police and all were unarmed.

Many Americans may question if Tiffany Trump truly recognizes how deep the situation goes, but she seems to be legitimately engaged. Many have compared her post to that of her sister’s Ivanka, and Tiffany seems more sincere. Tiffany is rarely talked about and does not make media appearances so it can be hard to gauge where she stands. What is interesting is that her joining the protest comes right after President Trump, her Father, threatened to sic the military on protestors. He also called them “lowlifes and losers.”

It still remains to be seen how far Tiffany will take her protest, and whether she will publicly condemn her father’s words. It will also be interesting to find out what Donald Trump thinks of his daughter’s stance.
