An important part of the QAnon cult is that Donald Trump is deified. And the group was crushed when Trump was booted out of office last November.

Instead of dealing with the reality of the situation, QAnoners have held close to the belief that Trump will be placed back in office. But the goalposts keep moving.
This weekend, a QAnon adherent named Donny Warren wrote an open letter to Trump complaining about how none of the group’s predictions are coming true.
The letter, which was posted to Telegram, began, “At the beginning of October, we were told of a Red October, with rumors of mass arrests across the world. We were given hints by ‘Q’ experts that November was to be THE month. I told a few of my awake friends that either this would be the best Thanksgiving ever, or the worst. Guess which one it was?”
Warren continued, “For months, I have anticipated each day with excitement knowing that I was watching my president and his crew of Patriots take back our country and our freedom. I am losing that excitement now. This is starting to get very old.”
The writer, who addressed the letter to Trump, Michael Flynn Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin and JFK (if he’s alive), also said of his family, “They think I am a nut for believing in all this.’
