Donald Trump has been in the hospital with COVID-19 since Friday night. It has been near impossible to know exactly what is going on with his condition. The medical updates given by Dr. Sean Conley have been questionable. There have been video statements, though they have likely been edited.

On Sunday afternoon, Trump decided to get out in the presidential SUV and bask in the adoration of his supporters. In order to do so, though, he had to expose secret service agents to COVID-19. After the stunt, the attending physician at Walter Reed Hospital blasted the president for putting his staff in danger.

Dr. James P. Phillips took to Twitter to write, “That Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.”
The Doctor continued, “Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential “drive-by” just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.”
