The Flailing Trump Campaign Has Frozen Its TV Spending, Wants to Change Strategy
As the majority of U.S. polls have shown, the Trump campaign is having a very difficult time. While the President has called the polls fake and said that his internal polling shows him winning, the actions of his campaign say otherwise. Trump recently demoted campaign manager Brad Parscale which is not something that would happen if things were going well.
And now another sign has emerged that the Trump team isn’t seeing the kind of results they feel like they should be getting. According to NBC News, the campaign has barely bought any ad space over the last few day and it looking for a change in strategy.
The most recent spots produced by the campaign run along side the President’s message of law and order. One ad hints that if Joe Biden is to be elected, police would have a 5 day wait before responding to a call. Biden, though, has been quite clear in saying that he has no plans to defund the police.
The Trump team says that the pause isn’t because the commercials have been unproductive, but due to the recent firing of Parscale. An administration official told NBC:
“With the leadership change in the campaign, there’s understandably a review and fine-tuning of the campaign’s strategy. We’ll be back on the air shortly, even more forcefully exposing Joe Biden as a puppet of the radical left-wing.”
Novembers election is now only 95 days away.
