Hungry Little Boy
Anthony was unable to understand why his son, Mike, was returning home from school with an empty stomach every day. Despite packing a lunchbox for him, the food inside should have been enough to satisfy the young boy's hunger.


To make things worse, when Anthony and his wife questioned Mike about it, he appeared to be frightened.
Talking To The Class
Feeling uneasy about the situation, Anthony resolved to visit the school and inquire about what was going on. Unfortunately, the principal was just as perplexed as Anthony and lacked any knowledge of what was occurring.


As a result, they decided to employ a different tactic and speak with Mike's classmates. It was then revealed to them that Mike did not bring his own food from home.
Addressing The Principal
The news hit Anthony hard, leaving him stunned and bewildered. He couldn't understand why the other students believed that Mike went hungry due to their family's financial struggles.


Anthony was convinced that something was amiss, and began to speculate about what could have happened to Mike on his way to school. Fueled by his concerns, he turned to the principal for help in uncovering the truth. The principal agreed to assist him in their search for answers.
The Substitute Teacher

The principal requested the substitute teacher, Clive, to come to his office, and his expression changed as soon as he saw Anthony present.


The principal then addressed Clive about Mike's situation, but Clive denied any knowledge of it. However, his performance was not as persuasive as he thought it was.

The principal requested to have a one-on-one conversation with Clive, and Anthony consented. However, another teacher who entered the room to console Anthony shared her concern about Clive's behavior, which validated Anthony's suspicion.


It was apparent that Anthony needed to take immediate action. But unfortunately, the situation didn't turn out as he anticipated.
They Had Nothing
The atmosphere in the principal's office was tense when Anthony returned. The principal revealed that they had hit a dead end in their investigation since there was no concrete evidence of what was happening.


Despite Anthony's concerns, the principal couldn't take any action as Mike refused to talk and Clive denied any wrongdoing. The situation had reached a standstill, and Anthony had to find another way to help Mike.
They Had To Find The Truth
Anthony and the principal were at a loss as to what to do next. They knew they needed to find a way to help Mike, but all their previous efforts had failed. Despite their frustration, they remained determined to find a solution.

After returning home, Anthony had an idea to search for Clive's full name on Google. He hoped that he would find some information that would give him some answers.


However, he was surprised to find that Clive was only listed on one website. The website was for a primary school where Clive used to work before joining Mike's school.
Talking To The School
Anthony found Clive's name listed as a former teacher on a website of another primary school where he had worked.


He did not know what to make of this but decided to contact the school to learn more. The response he received only heightened his worries.
Trying To Convince His Son
During a family dinner, Anthony couldn't hold back his worry any longer and asked Mike if there was anything he needed to know about Clive.


Mike appeared to be frightened and started to stutter. Surprisingly, he repeated the same words Clive had said earlier. Anthony didn't find it convincing, though. It was as if his son had been coached on what to say.
A Secret
Anthony was certain that something odd was happening, and the cause of it all was his child's instructor. He was anxious about his child's safety, just like any caring parent would be.


He couldn't understand why his son was hiding things from him. His lunch was disappearing every day, and he suspected that the teacher was involved. He realized that he needed to take swift action for the sake of his child.

At that moment, Anthony initiated the development of a scheme. If he wanted to uncover the facts about his son's situation, he needed to be crafty.

Without an appointment, Anthony entered the principal's office, disregarding his assistant's advice. He approached the principal who was seated, and caught him off guard.


Before the principal had a chance to respond, Anthony spoke up. "Hello, I'm certain you know who I am. I'm the father of Michael. I have concerns about one of his teachers."
No Evidence
Anthony described his suspicions to the principal in detail. The principal appeared troubled, but then shook his head. It was evident that something was amiss.


The principal gazed directly into Anthony's eyes and stated, "I'm sorry, I can't do much without any proof." Anthony felt a rush of anger. Would the principal genuinely take no action?
Leaving With Nothing
Anthony left the office empty-handed. The principal refused to act without evidence. He realized that he would have to handle the situation himself.


If the principal demanded proof, then Anthony would obtain it. However, he understood that he wouldn't be following proper protocol.
A Sneaky Way Of Doing Things
Anthony seethed as he returned home, but he was already devising a strategy in his mind. He knew precisely what could assist his son, but he recognized that it would be extremely hazardous.


He couldn't conceive of any other approach to proceed. He wished he could have handled things differently, but it was too late now. If he wanted to proceed, he would have to be cunning about it.
Putting Something In His Backpack
The following day, Anthony was prepared to implement his plan. While his son was preparing for school, he discreetly inserted something small into the front pocket of his backpack.


His son descended the stairs, had breakfast, and then they departed for school. Anthony dropped him off, feeling pleased with his cleverness. The teacher's covert activities would finally be exposed.
A Recording Device
Anthony had concealed a recording gadget inside his son's backpack. He could record the complete exchange between his son and the teacher. After leaving his son at school, he departed for work.


At work, all Anthony could do was be patient. Even his boss inquired why he was grinning throughout the day. But he knew that the teacher would soon be pleading for forgiveness.

Later that day, Anthony collected Mike from school and skillfully retrieved the recorder from the backpack. He inquired about his son's day, but once again, he seemed unhappy. That's when Anthony realized he was on the right track.


He extracted the recorder and played it back. But when he heard the discussion between his son and the teacher, he knew exactly what he had to do.
Organizing A Meeting
Anthony arranged a meeting with the principal to present his evidence, which would expose the teacher's actions. He felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that his plan had worked.


As he waited for the meeting, he felt conflicted. He knew that his son would not want him to do this, but as a parent, he felt it was his duty to protect him.
Finally, the day of the meeting arrived. Anthony presented the evidence, and the truth was revealed. Although his son was upset, Anthony knew that he had made the right decision in the end.
