Stephen Miller’s Grandmother Died of Covid-19. Miller’s Uncle Blames the Trump Administration

Stephen Miller, even at the age of 34, has worked his way into becoming one of Donald Trump’s closest advisers. He is also one of the most controversial members of an administration that is chock full of controversial people. Many have blamed Miller for appealing to the worst of Donald Trump’s devices.

The beliefs of Miller have also created tremendous turmoil within his own family. In 2018, his own Uncle, Dr. David Glosser wrote an op-ed slamming his nephew. Recently, Glosser’s mother and Miller’s grandmother, Ruth Glosser died of COVID-19. Now Glosser is blaming Miller and the Trump administration for her plight.

Dr. Glosser wrote in a July Facebook post, “This morning my mother, Ruth Glosser, died of the late effects of COVID-19 like so many thousands of other people; both young and old. She survived the acute infection but was left with lung and neurological damage that destroyed her will to eat and her ability to breathe well enough to sustain arousal and consciousness. Over an 8-week period she gradually slipped away and died peacefully this morning. ”

Miller’s Uncle added, “With the death of my mother, I’m angry and outraged at [Miller] directly and the administration he has devoted his energy to supporting.”

The White House responded to Dr. Glosser’s claims by stating that Ruth Glosser could not have died of COVID.

But Glosser, who spent his lifetime in medicine, told Mother Jones, “Keeping the tragic facts about COVID deaths of our countrymen and women, young and old, from the American public serves no purpose other than to obscure the need for a coherent national, scientifically based, public health response to save others from this disease.”

The Doctor also shared a copy of his mother’s birth certificate which lists the cause of death as respiratory arrest caused by Covid-19.
