“Some of Them Were Hugging and Kissing the Police”: Trump Call Into Fox News to Complain About the Prosecution of Insurrectionists

Donald Trump is a lonely man who spends most of his days golfing at Mar-a-Lago. He also sits around and watches plenty of cable news. And much of what the president sees on the news upsets him.

His predecessor Joe Biden has gotten to work cleaning up Trump’s messes. Stimulus relief in helping both individual Americans and small businesses. And people around to country are being vaccinated at an incredible rate.

So in a desperate bid for attention, Trump called into Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show to complain. And during that call, he whined about his supporters being prosecuted for their part in the Capitol insurrection.

The 45th president told Ingraham, “They don’t go after those people, but they go after people, I guess you would call them lean toward the right, and they wave American flags, in many cases, they are waving the American flag, and they love our country. And to those people, they are arresting them by the dozens, but they don’t go after Antifa, who kill people, by the way.”

Trump continued, “Some of them went in, and they are hugging and kissing the police and the guards, you know, they had great relationships. And a lot of the people were waved in, and then they walked in and they walked out.”
