Sean Spicer, the White House Press Secretary, has praised satirical news site “The Onion” for reporting fake facts.
The Onion wrote and posted an article titled “Five Things to Know About Sean Spicer” to which Spicer declares “you nailed it.
Spicer’s “role in the Trump administration will be to provide the American public with robust and clearly articulated misinformation,” the article read.

The video’s “things to know” also include Spicer’s former role as a senior correspondent for NPR (a false statement), his “defensive” speaking style (partially false), and his questionable pocket squares.
Fact number four was “whether or not Spicer has ever knowingly lied to the press.”
“One’s own mental activity is the only unquestionable fact of one’s experience,” the Onion explains.
We agree with Spicer. The Onion nailed it.
Welcome to the Red State…
