Schumer: RBG is Turning Over in Grave Over Coney Barrett Nomination
Days before she passed away, Ruth Bader Ginsburg told her granddaughter that her dying wish is that a president other than Donald Trump replaces her on the Supreme Court. Rather than keeping her wishes, Trump raised controversy by saying that he doubts the veracity of the story.
And Trump couldn’t wait to name the replacement for the venerated judge. Just a week after Bader Ginsburg passed away, the president named Amy Coney Barrett to fill her seat. That choice, Chuck Schumer says, would have Bader Ginsburg “turning over in her grave.”
The senate minority leader held a press conference shortly after Trump tabbed Coney Barrett. “A vote for Judge Barrett is a vote to take away health care and its protections for over 130 million Americans who now have protections against pre-existing conditions,” he said.
Schumer continued, “Judge Ginsburg had a dying wish that the next president choose. Justice Ginsburg must be turning over in her grave up in heaven to see that the person they chose seems to be intent on undoing all the things that Ginsburg did. I will strongly, strongly, strongly oppose this nomination.”
The American people should make no mistake:
A vote by any Senator for Judge Amy Coney Barrett is a vote to eliminate health care for millions in the middle the COVID-19 pandemic.
Democrats are fighting for Americans' health care.

The Democratic leader also reminded voters that Republicans, “held the nomination of Merrick Garland open for eight months because it shouldn’t be before a presidential election but now only 40 days before an election when some people started voting, they say never mind.”

"A vote for Amy Coney Barrett is a dagger aimed at the heart of the healthcare protections Americans so desperately need and want.”
