Based on the medications he has been taking, Donald Trump is having a tough time with the coronavirus. He is also having a tough time mentally. His behavior has been scrutinized by not only Democrats, but Republicans as well.

Nancy Pelosi, who has been alarmed by Trump’s behavior, is proposing legislation about the 25th Amendment. On Monday’s broadcast of Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough said that on one has stepped in to help Trump is proof that no one loves him.

The host began by playing a clip where Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said Trump is in an altered state. “I guess this is a very sad indictment or just a sad statement on his life,” Scarborough said. “He doesn’t have anybody close enough to him, that loves him enough, that he trusts enough, that can keep him from continuing to destroy himself and politically, destroying his campaign and politically, destroying Republicans across the country.”

The former congressman continued, “There is nothing normal about this. He’s not — does not sound like he is equipped right now to be President of the United States and may not be until his steroid treatment runs its course.”

Scarbough concluded his remarks by saying, “[Trump should] take a rest for a week and let Mike Pence assume the presidency until he gets better.”
