Sarah Huckabee Sanders Reemerges to Unironically Talk About Mike Bloomberg’s Issues With Black Voters

Donald Trump has historically had issues with African Americans. Despite his frequent talking points on black unemployment and criminal justice reform, he has remained wildly unpopular with black voters. He has never to shake past racist acts like pushing birthirism and taking out full page ad calling for the death of the Central Park 5.

Many were surprised yesterday when Trump blasted former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg despite the President’s own troubled history with African Americans. Today, former Trump spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders appeared on Fox News to unironically parrot Trump’s anti-Bloomberg talking points.

On Monday night, Trump posted then deleted a tweet blasting Mike Bloomberg over his “stop and frisk” policy. Trump was on record as being a big fan of the measure.

When asked about Bloomberg, Huckabee Sanders said, “If he continues to rise, he is gonna have serious problems with women, with African-Americans. His record, his language is offensive and atrocious. Then again, maybe he can buy the DNC just like Hillary did and steal it from Bernie like they did in 2016.”

Former Republican National Committee head Michael Steele, who is African American, was quick to weigh in on the comments. He tweeted, “OK. Lets try this: ‘Sarah Sanders says Donald Trump will have serious problems with Women and African Americans. She also says his language is offensive and atrocious.’ Now THAT’s believable.”
