Russian State TV is an important propaganda arm for Vladimir Putin. Stations like TASS, Ria Novosti and RT essentially exist to make the government look good they wholeheartedly support Putin.

Over the last few weeks, the anchors of the Fox News network have seemingly rooted for Russia over the United States. None more so than Tucker Carlson. On Wednesday night, the Fox host delivered such a gushing tribute to Putin that it is now being played on Russian State TV.
Turkey Bureau Cheif for Middle East Eye, Ragıp Soylu, tweeted a clip of the segment, noting, “Russian state broadcaster RT just published Tucker Carlson’s rant to defend Putin with Russian subtitles.”

During a Wednesday night spot on his show, Carlson ranted
“It may be worth asking yourself, since it is getting pretty serious, what is this really about? Why do I hate Putin so much? Has Putin ever called me a racist? Has he threatened to get me fired for disagreeing with him?” The Fox host later continued, “These are fair questions, and the answer to all of them is ‘no.’ Vladimir Putin didn’t do any of that. So, why does permanent Washington hate him so much?”
