Rudy Giuliani: Jesus Told Me to Keep Campaigning With Son Rather Than Getting Heat Treated [VIDEO]

It is hard to believe that, at one time, Rudy Giuliani was a real contender to become the United States President. But the Republican, formerly nicknamed America’s Mayor, had a dramatic 20-year fall that seems to get worse by the week.

Most recently, Giuliani was spending his time helping his son Andrew run for the Republican nomination in the New York State Governor’s race. During an interview with Steve Bannon, the Trump lawyer revealed that he had been having heart issues. After a conversation with Jesus, though, Giuliani chose to stay on the trail.
The former Mayor claimed that the issue had started after he was ‘assaulted‘ by a supermarket worker. He later got two stents in his heart. Giuliani explained, “I can’t travel on a plane to Europe for about a week and then I’m back to normal.”
Bannon asked Giuliani why he waited before seeking treatment. “The answer is my son was running,” he replied. “I made a calculated decision. Really, I had a conversation with Jesus about it. Seriously! I made a calculated decision. I said, ‘Give me three more weeks.’ And thank God he did.”

The risk he took didn’t do his son Andrew much good. Despite having the once-proud name of Giuliani, the son failed to connect with Republican voters, only garnering around 23% of the vote. Notably, Donald Trump failed to endorse anyone in the race despite the fact that Andrew worked for him and Rudy frequently humiliated himself on Trump’s behalf.
