Rudy Giuliani is Urging GOP Leadership to 'Lean on Zelensky' [VIDEO]

It feels like a lifetime ago that Donald Trump faced his first impeachment. No one had heard of COVID-19 at that point, and Russia had yet to invade Ukraine. So many may forget that the situation heavily involved Rudy Giuliani and Volodymyr Zelensky.

Giuliani has only grown increasingly unhinged since 2019, facing several legal issues and essentially gone broke. Still, it should come as a bit of a surprise that while appearing on Steve Bannon's show, Giuliani implored Republican leadership to lean on the Ukrainian President.

Advising Jim Jordan and Speaker Mike Johnson, Giuliani said:

"It began with Brennan, when they were hatching, when he was informed of Hilary coming up with the false plot. It should begin with him, it should include Brennan, it should include Biden, the Vice President, who approved it and helped out."

Moving on to Zelensky, he continued, "they should bring over from Ukraine, about 20 Ukrainian witnesses, I could get them, that are still being held there. A couple I found out very recently are in fear of death. And, uh, they should...somebody should lean on Zelensky. You want another penny, give us your Biden file."

Amazingly, the idea of what Giuliani suggested is exactly what got Donald Trump impeached the first time. Still, it wouldn't be a surprise to see someone like Mike Johnson or Jim Jordan take him up on the idea.
