Ron Johnson on Treating COVID: Try a Bunch of Drugs And See Which One Works [VIDEO]

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough regularly refers to Ron Johnson as America’s dumbest senator. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson has done little to prove otherwise.

WASHINGTON, DC – DECEMBER 16: Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) speaks during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing to discuss election security and the 2020 election process on December 16, 2020 in Washington, DC. The Wisconsin lawmaker has told people who have already had COVID that the don’t need to get vaccinated. Doctors are unsure whether or not this is true.

And like many other Republicans, Johnson is pushing a number of COVID treatments rather than recommending people get the free and readily available vaccine.

The Wisconsin senator made the comments during an appearance on the Bold and the Blunt podcast. When asked about the criticism against him, Johnson responded, “They are doing far more than dismissing me. They’re attacking me.” The GOP lawmaker continued, “I don’t care what drug will work. Try a bunch of them, particularly ones that are safe.”
