Rolling Stone: Kid Rock Waved a Gun and Repeatedly Used the N-Word During Interview

Kid Rock, who grew up wealthy in the Michigan suburbs, began his career as a rapper. Somewhere in the 2000s, he decided to change his image into some kind of country southern rock star. And along with the new image, Rock became a hard-core supporter of Donald Trump.

Recently, the musician sat down for an interview with Rolling Stone and it rapidly went off the rails. According to Rolling Stones' David Peisner, who conducted the interview, a drunken Kid Rock began waving a pistol during the talk and also repeatedly used the n-word.

Peisner writes, "He’s sitting in a dark leather chair, shouting at me about something or other, when he reaches behind the seat, pulls out a black handgun, and waves it around to make some sort of point. And I got a f-----g g-----n gun right here if I need it! I got them everywhere!"

Rock then claimed that the Republicans freed the slaves. Peisner was quick to note that Republicans were the progressive party during the Civil War. The musician responded:

"I know where you’re going with this, and I’ll tell you why I don’t. Because Trick Trick, the hardest-hitting n----r in Detroit, was like, ‘Dog, you had that shit right. We need Trump.’ I’ll call him right fucking now... I’m telling you. These dogs are calling me like, ‘Yo, n----r, you had that one right!"
