In May of 2011, the United States Seal Team 6 carried out an operation that resulted in the killing of Osama bin Laden. Rob O’Neill took credit for firing that fatal shot. Following the end of his service, O’Neill wrote a book and regularly appeared as a contributor on Fox News.

The former Navy Seal was recently fired by the network. He had courted controversy back in August when he said he would shoot civilians in order to get Americans out of Afghanistan. And now O’Neill is hitting back at Fox.
In a Thursday tweetstorm, the former Seal began, “You won’t hear this anywhere else: Our mission was never to “rebuild” that shithole called Afghanistan. Generals, admirals, politicians and lawyers came up with that nonsense. That’s why we lost.”
O’Neill continued, “Seriously, don’t let Fox News fool you. They were in on it too. Personal power. They don’t care about you. It’s all about money. I care about you. They don’t.”

The Navy Seal then revealed his next step, tweeting, “Turn on Newsmax at 3:30 ET. Let’s talk about stuff.”
