RNC Star and MD Congressional Candidate Lost Her Race by 44%. She is Alleging Massive Voter Fraud.
Kim Klacik first came onto the political scene thanks to a viral video she produced over summer. In the ad, Klacik, who is black, talked about how Democratic leadership in Baltimore had failed it’s African American residents. She became a favorite of Donald Trump who retweeted her ad and invited her to speak at the Republican National Convention.
The Republican was able to use the spotlight to raise a ton of money, bringing in $7 million during the election cycle. She was never a serious contender to win her race, though. But after losing to Democrat Kweisi Mfume by nearly 45 points, she is alleging massive voter fraud.
With 82% of the vote reported in Maryland’s 7th district, Klacik trails by a margin of 72-28. The race has been called for Mfume. She had also run for the same seat in April of this year. During that election, she lost 74-25.
The candidate, though, believes she was somehow cheated. Over the weekend, Donald Trump complained, “We believe these people are thieves. The big city machines are corrupt. This was a stolen election. Best pollster in Britain wrote this morning that this clearly was a stolen election, that it’s impossible to imagine that Biden outran Obama in some of these states.”
Agreed. I beat my opponent on day of & in-person early voting, along with absentee.
However, 97k mail in ballots were found in his favor? Luckily, we raised enough money to investigate. https://t.co/s4berP6VRm

Klacik responded to the president’s tweet, “Agreed. I beat my opponent on day of & in-person early voting, along with absentee. However, 97k mail in ballots were found in his favor? Luckily, we raised enough money to investigate.”
The candidate notes in her tweet that she hopes to challenge the results of her election.
