Right-Wing Nut Mario Murillo Says Donald Trump Could Not Have Lost Reelection Because of Prophecy
Right-Wing Nut Mario Murillo, an evangelical supporter of President Donald Trump, believes that Trump really did win the 2020 election because of “prophecy” and that Christians who accept President-Elect Joe Biden’s victory will be “judged by God.”
Murillo, who has on multiple occasions proclaimed that he will never accept Biden’s victory, said last week on Flashpoint radio show, which airs on Kenneth Copeland’s “The Victory Channel,” that the “conspiracy theory” is Biden’s defeat of Trump.
“I’m gonna say this. That Joe Biden is president is the conspiracy theory. Not the Dominion voting, not all of the corruption that we’re uncovering. The conspiracy theory, the tinfoil cone hat theory is that Joe Biden is the legitimate president of the United States. Get that. Now, here’s what you are doing,” Murillo said.
“The Bible says not to fear their conspiracy theories but to fear the Lord and then he will be a sanctuary. Now think about this,” Murillo continued, attempting to tie the Biblical Exodus with the election.
“When we’re looking at that moment when God said to the Israelites, we’ve got to say this to you watching now. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit and give into fear, God is going to judge you. God is going to correct you for that,” said Murillo. “If you’re giving in and you’re one of those that voted for Biden, if you’re one of those that is kind of using cheap grace as an excuse to accept this cultural change and say, ‘Well, let’s be loving,’ God is going to judge you.”
Back to the Exodus connection again and also something about a goat.
“Because what happened is they wandered in the wilderness and God made up his mind. He said, ‘they will never go into my promised land.’ He said he had made up his mind already – ‘I’m not waiting for you to die.’ And there is a sheep part of the body of Christ right now and there is a goat,” Murillo added. “And right now, this is a test. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a test.”
Murillo then insisted that Trump appointing Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court was prophecy.
“It’s a test of whether you are going to stand on the word or go by what you see – if you’re gonna believe the lies or are you gonna understand that it would make no sense for such a verbatim prophecy as the third Supreme Court Justice being a woman of compassion that he gave in October 2020,” said Murillo.
A woman of compassion – who just ruled against safety measures for religious gatherings; who during her confirmation denied the existence of climate change – and who was a lifelong member of a hate group, just to cite a few examples.
Prophecy cannot be wrong, after all.
“It would make no sense for that part to be true, and the part about the corruption being exposed not to be true. That’s what you got to end your life on right now. You gotta be loyal to God in this hour and not give in because God will surely bring correction,” Murillo said.
More likely is that none of what Murillo is saying about reality versus prophecy – for no sources were specified – is true. Think about it.
