The shocked mother clenched her hands in fury as the waiter examined her son and articulated something completely unexpected. How could they have said this to her child?
She voiced her displeasure with how her son was being handled, and the waiter immediately lost his temper. He demanded that the two of them leave the eatery. The mother was outraged.
Remembering What Happened
The two of them angrily exited the eatery, and she was astounded that someone would be so unkind to her offspring. As they drove away, she was still pondering the incident.
The young lad nervously looked at his feet as the waiter gave him an unfeeling look. He merely desired to dine with his mom. Though Ian yielded quietly, his mother was about to give the waiter a harsh scolding.

Kris Maple

Every time she met somebody new, whether it was through a blind date or by happenstance, it ended the same way. She questioned herself, pondering if maybe it was her fault. Was there an issue with her that she was not aware of?
Pros And Cons
Kris was perplexed as to why her romantic relationships never flourished. However, after plenty of contemplation, it gradually began to make sense. She was merely special in her own way. Love was not a major part of her existence.

NOTHING TO DISTRACT HER

She achieved a lucrative occupation that gave her the money she needed to become a parent in her own special style. Her aspirations eventually became a reality.
Ian
She was not willing to sit idle and wait for a partner, so she opted to look for a sperm donor. After a short time of attempting, she became expecting! She was astonished at her luckiness since many people have difficulty becoming pregnant with this technique over a long period of time.
After she had nurtured her unborn child for nine months, the day had finally come that they could be together. It was the most joyous moment of her life. Little Ian had officially made his entrance into the world.
Usual Day

Waiter Comes Over
The waiter spotted them after a brief period of time and headed in their direction. He presented himself and displayed a very pleasant grin.
It looked like things were going to proceed as expected, but then the server perceived something that he couldn't overlook. It was the young man's footwear.
Something Wrong
The waiter's face changed from pleasant to sour in an instant. Kris was confused as to why he was so displeased; then she followed his gaze. He was obviously staring at her son.
She had no notion what could be the cause of his difficulty with her offspring. She was on the brink of questioning him what the issue was, but he spoke up first.
The Shoes
My apologies, sir, but these shoes don't fit the dress code," the waiter said without a pause. Ian, a small boy, gazed up at the waiter with a trusting expression.
He protested to the server with the politeness his mom showed him, "But they're my favorite shoes!" Nonetheless, the waiter wasn't willing to make an allowance for a youngster.
The Manager
Kris interjected, calling for the waiter's attention. "Hey! You mustn't address my son in that fashion! He's still a child!" But the waiter was immovable. He was about to spoil their day.
My apologies, madam, but I cannot offer him service." He retorted harshly. Kris felt her fury intensifying. What was her next step?
The Tables Turned
The server wasn't going to be lenient about this situation. Kris was astonished. She wouldn't even attempt to be polite when he was so impolite to her child. He was her priority, after all.
She was at a loss of what to do. For the first time in an extended period she was unable to form words. She had let her guard down the second they went into the eatery.

I apologize, ma'am, but he cannot remain here. His footwear is not acceptable and he must go." He said to Kris sternly.
She had never encountered anybody who had publicly expressed their dissatisfaction in this manner. Her son had been wearing those shoes for quite some while, and although occasionally he got odd looks, nobody had actually uttered an objection.
Mistreated
She was shocked to discover that some individuals would be so unkind to her kid. She had to talk to someone who was in control. She could not be sure what the waiter's story was.

The mother felt the need to gain retribution for her son. She hoped there would be someone to come to her son's aid, yet nobody responded.

THE SHOES
Ian held a special place in her heart for the shoes her son was wearing. She recalled the day she had bought them for him vividly.
She doubted that he would approve, but he pleaded with her for them. She sensed that this was significant to him. Despite potential criticism, she chose to purchase the shoes for him.
Their Condition
The shoes had seen better days, and the young lad was having difficulty squeezing his ever-expanding feet into them.
In spite of his efforts, Kris couldn't persuade his son to part with them. He even bought some new shoes, yet his son refused to put them on. He had become so attached to the old pair due to a special experience that he couldn't forget.

Most folks couldn't conceive of how significant the shoes were to the lad, even if they appeared grubby, tatty, and used to others. The server and boss assumed they were unsuitable for a diner.
She rejected their opinion. They weren't aware of the significance they had for the boy. Neither did the people online who criticized her harshly.
Making Them Understand
Kris retaliated against the online world. Ian had experienced his genetic dad a solitary time. Kris thought it was beneficial for him. The father who donated his sperm was uncertain, yet when she extended the offer, he acknowledged it.
