Report: Trump Turning on Lindsey Graham Over Obamagate

Lindsey Graham, who was once among Donald Trump’s most aggressive critics, has now turned into one of his most ardent supporters. Sure, the South Carolina Senator has, at time, disagreed with the President, but he is mostly supportive.

Donald Trump is seeming more from the sycophantic Senator. Last week, he asked Graham to subpoena Barack Obama, a request Graham denied. According to a new report from Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman, this denial has led to Trump turning on Graham.

The President tweeted, “If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!”

Graham said of the request, “I understand President Trump’s frustration, but be careful what you wish for. Just be careful what you wish for.”

According to a White House source, “Trump recently asked prominent allies to tweet negative things about Graham, and he has been complaining that Graham is a hanger-on.”

Sherman’s source also claims Trump said, “Since [John] McCain died, Lindsey follows me around and shows up to play golf and I don’t even invite him.”

Trump’s anger towards Obama has only grown since last week. Over the weekend, the 44th President delivered a commencement speech that was critical of the Trump administration.

And Graham might be delivering on some of the President wish. On Tuesday it was revealed that the South Carolina lawmaker could soon call on Obama officials to testify before the senate.
