Report: Police Are Investigating A Physical Fight Between Lauren Boebert And Her Ex-Husband

Since being elected to Congress in 2020, Lauren Boebert has constantly been embroiled in controversy. Not only has she gotten herself in hot water with her words, she has also gotten herself in trouble with her actions.

The latest bit of trouble for Boebert comes from an interaction with her ex-husband, Jayson, over the weekend. And now the police are investigating what has been referred to as a physical fight between the two.

A Boebert aide had told the Daily Beast this Sunday that Jayson Boebert called the police and claimed that he was a victim of domestic violence. The incident took place at a restaurant called the Miner's Claim in Silt, Colorado.

The Daily Beast report continued, "The aide emphasized that Lauren Boebert denies any allegation of domestic violence on her part, and that the events as depicted in social media posts on Saturday were not accurate."

And now police are investigating the matter. Mike Kite, the Silt Chief of Police, told reporters, "We are treating this case no differently than we would anyone else."

The congresswoman's behavior has become more extreme since her divorce. She said of the matter back in 2023:

"I’ve made my own personal mistakes and have owned up and apologized for them. It’s tested my faith, my strength and my abilities both as a mom and a congresswoman. It’s been humbling and challenging, but it’s also given me perspective and helped me grow. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for everyone who has steadfastly stood alongside of me in the third district and across America."
