It is not such a bad job being a congressperson, especially when it comes to pay. The current salary for a member of the House of Representatives is around $175,000. There are a number of other little perks that go along with the position as well.

Axios’ Andrew Solender reports, “House Sergeant-at-Arms tells Marjorie Taylor Greene she’s been observed violating the House floor mask mandate 21 times since May, accruing 20 fines totaling $48,000. Greene, in a statement, vows to ‘continue my stand on the House floor against authoritarian Democrat mandates.'”

The Republican also discussed vaccine mandates during a recent spot on Steve Bannon’s show. She told the Conservative pundit, “I’m not getting the vaccine because I’m an American. I can choose what I want to do with my body. I have the freedom to decide if I want to get a vaccine or not get a vaccine.”
