Ivanka Trump had a pretty great life 7 or 8 years ago. She lived in Manhattan with her billionaire husband and ran a successful fashion label. She was also popular in Liberal circles holding fundraisers for Democrats like Cory Booker.
Everything changed for her when her Dad became President. She closed down her fashion line in 2018 due to increased scrutiny and ethics concerns. By the time her father was out of office, she moved her family down to Florida as she was seemingly no longer welcome in New York.
The former First Daughter has made it clear that she doesn't want to be a part of her father's 2024 campaign for President. And according to the New York Post, she is also avoiding discussing his current legal woes.
Page Six quotes one source as saying, "[Ivanka] Will be staying far away from daddy." Another added, "Ivanka has disappeared."
Embattled spouse Melania Trump, however, will be standing by her man. A source told the Post, "Melania knows what she signed up for. She is in a wait-and-see position. He’ll either be in prison or be President. Or both. It’s not a time for fighting within the family."
Unlike her brothers, Ivanka has a wealthy spouse and does not depend on her father for her livelihood. Staying away from the former President is probably the best way for her to rebuild her life.
