Report: General Mark Milley Once Told Stephen Miller to “Shut the F*ck Up”
For months now, the GOP has been complaining about wokeness in the military. Dan Crenshaw and Tom Cotton went as far as calling for whistleblowers to report on episodes of their talking point in the armed forces.
And part of this wokeness idea is critical race theory. Despite the fact that CRT is an advanced topic usually taught in law schools, Fox News talks about it nearly every night. Matt Gaetz tried to bring the “issue” up to Gen. Mark Milley during a congressional hearing this week. Milley memorably shot the congressman down and made him look ridiculous.
According to the Wall St. Journal’s Michael Bender, this wasn’t the first time Milley smacked down a member of Team Trump. In a new book, entitled, Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, the General one time blasted Trump adviser Stephen Miller.
Bender writes that the advisers were meeting about the unrest following the George Floyd killing. The group was watching cable broadcasts of the protests. At one point, Miller said, “the cities are burning.” Bender reports that Milley responded, “shut the f*ck up, Stephen.”
With his take no prisoners attitude, Milley is becoming somewhat of a folk hero on the left.
