Report: Devin Nunes is Retiring and May Take Job With Trump Start-Up

Devin Nunes has become well versed with the internet. Unfortunately for the California Congressman, though, most of his interactions with social media have gone badly for him.

The Republican, who was lampooned by a Twitter account called Devin Nunes’ Cow. Nunes attempted to sue the popular Twitter account. The judge in the case, though, ruled that the suit could not move forward.

Nunes has also been criticized for his relationship with Donald Trump. In 2017, he had to issue an apology after sharing Intelligence Committee information with Donald Trump before sharing it with his Democratic counterparts.

The California Rep., though, will not have to worry about those issues anymore. Jake Sherman is reporting that Nunes will be retiring and may take a job with Trump’s social media startup.

The Punchbowl News writer tweets, “Devin Nunes is retiring. He was in line to be Ways and Means chairman in the House Republican majority He is “rumored” to be taking a job with the Trump media start up.”

This is a still developing story with more to come later.
