Rapper, Convicted Felon and Internet Troll 6ix9ine Says He’d Vote For Trump

Rapper 6ix9ine, who also goes by Tekashi69 is best known for two things. The first are his numerous facial tattoos and his often colorful hair. The artist, who’s real name is Daniel Hernandez, is also well known for snitching on the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a New York street gang he formerly associated with.

Hernandez served two years in prison recently, but experienced success after being released from prison. His song Trollz, which featured Nicki Minaj, rose up to number one on the charts. And apparently 6ix9ine is also an admirer of the current President and said he would happily vote for him.

The rapper made the comments during a recent interview with the New York Times. He was asked by Joe Coscarelli, “A lot of people compare you to President Trump in your ability to troll your way to the top. Do you see similarities there?”

6ix9ine replied, “I don’t think Trump trolls. I think Trump is genuinely Trump. I get compared to Trump every day. But I love Mexican people. I don’t think we’re the same.”

After being asked if he ever voted in an election, Hernandez responded, “can felons vote.” Coscarelli explained that in the state of New York, some felons are eligible to vote. The rapper doubled down, “I would vote for Trump.”
