Doug Jones will face off against accused pedophile Roy Moore in an Alabama special election on Tuesday and President Obama has gone all-in with his support of Doug Jones.
“This one’s serious. You can’t sit it out” the 44th President of the United States is declaring in pre-recorded phone calls aimed at Alabama residents.
“Doug Jones is a fighter for equality, for progress. Doug will be our champion for justice. So get out and vote, Alabama,” the former President adds.
Obama’s support of Jones and opposition to Moore follows suit with former Vice-President Joe Biden, who also sent out pre-recorded calls asking voters to get out and push Roy Moore out of the race.
Roy Moore, despite multiple claims of being a child predator, has gained the full endorsement of President Donald Trump, the RNC, and many other Republican supporters. To date, at least eight women have accused Moore of harassing and pursuing them when he was in his 30s and they were teenagers. Recently, another woman accused Moore of sexually assaulting her when he was serving as the state’s District Attorney.
President Obama’s calls were specifically aimed at black voters throughout the state. Those votes could be the deciding factor in a creepy race in which Alabama voters in many areas are willing to side with an accused child predator over a Democrat.
Welcome to the Red State…
