You may not have heard, but Donald Trump is not on Twitter anymore. If he was, one would imagine that his resignation letter from SAG-AFTRA would have appeared on the website. Instead, Trump had to write a formal letter to SAG president Gabrielle Carteris.

And the letter was everything people have come to expect from Trump, inflating his success and importance in the world of film and TV. Comedian Jon Stewart couldn’t resist taking a shot at the former president and delivered a hilarious response.
In his letter to Carteris, Trump bloviated, “I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares! While I’m not familiar with your work, I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice—to name just a few!”
And the ex-president, seemingly having difficulty coming to grips with reality, signed the missive, President Donald Trump.
Stewart, in mocking solidarity, tweeted, “You have let me down as well, done nothing…I will no longer abide your gross abdication of…oh wait…I’m just shitty at acting…never mind. President Jon Stewart.”
I too, renounce SAG-AFTRA!!!
