Potential 2024 Presidential Candidate Could Change his Name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West

During a 2005 telethon for Hurricane Katrina, Kanye West told America, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Quite a bit has changed for the rap mogul since then as he has become a fierce supporter of Donald Trump and a devout Christian.

West has even hinted that he may want to get into politics in the near future. On Friday, he not only said that he may run for President in 2024, but that he is thinking about changing his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West.

The rapper made the comments during a Fast Company event called the Innovation Festival.

Of the potential name change, he said, “When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire, I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is.”

The most recent Forbes report placed West’s net worth at $240 million.

West also discussed his political ambitions, making a Presidential run a question of when and not if. “When I run for president in 2024,” he then paused while the audience laughed. “What y’all laughing at? We would create so many jobs.”

The mogul continued, “I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk. When you see headlines saying Kanye’s crazy — one in three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also because they can’t say nothing, they got no opinion, they’re so scared!”

West released his latest album, Jesus Is King, earlier this week. It was given a rave review from fellow MAGA fan, Donald Trump Jr.
