Pat Robertson spoke out about the election, two weeks after the polls closed, to declare that he still believes Donald Trump is going to win, despite the electoral maps all showing that Joe Biden has the votes necessary to be declared President-Elect of the United States.
In an episode of The 700 Club, Robertson spoke in prayer, saying that he “bind[s] the spirit of delusion that’s come over our land,” and warning that if the United States is turned over to Satan, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (which he seems to think is the alternative to a Trump win) then cars and airplanes will be taken away, businesses will be taken over, and there will be a “redo” of energy — apparently an expression of fear of greener, more renewable energy sources.

In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of delusion that’s come across our land. We will not surrender our nation. We will not give up this country, and Satan, you cannot have it…Bernie Sanders and AOC and those people are pure socialists and they want to take control of everything….we cannot allow that. So let’s pray, and what I am hearing, I still think Trump’s gonna ultimately win.
While Robertson is far from the only public figure to claim this, Donald Trump’s campaign has had numerous lawsuits thrown out. Most recently, Law & Crime reports that, with Rudy Giuliani representing the president, U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann canceled an evidentiary hearing on allegations regarding Pennsylvania’s elections, after Giuliani admitted in court that there was no legal claim of fraud.
