In a new clip, televangelist Pat Robertson warns that we’re seeing the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. His evidence is that he believes Vice President Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi are running the country.
In the clip below from Right Wing Watch, Robertson opens by declaring President Joe Biden to be suffering from senile dementia. Though Robertson does not practice medicine and is not treating Biden, he declares this as an incontrovertible fact.
From there, he jumps into the question: if Biden is unwell, who is running the country in his stead?

Citing Bible verses, Robertson declares that the country is actually being run by VP Harris in the White House, and House Speaker Pelosi in Congress. He does not mention how or whether the Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer, being a man, factors into this conclusion.
Reading a passage from the book of Isaiah in the King James Bible about corrupt leadership and social collapse, he indicated that he could see the same in modern America. Speaking of Black Lives Matter protests over recent years, he says, “Who has led these riots? Well, mostly they’re kids…now who is in charge? There are two women who are in charge. One in charge of the White House is Kamala Harris. The one in charge of Congress is Nancy Pelosi. They are the ones that are running this government right now.”
The conspiracy theory that Joe Biden has dementia and Kamala Harris is the real acting President, or that Biden will step down or be removed, making Harris the legal and legitimate President, isn’t new. It was spread throughout the election cycle by other far-right voices who opposed any possibility of Harris achieving political power.
