Omarosa Manigault-Newman appeared on the very first season of The Apprentice. And while she didn’t win, her competitive energy made her the star of the show. And after that first season, she was frequently seen around Donald Trump.
Trump even brought the former reality show contestant with him to the White House. Omarosa didn’t last long after frequently feuding with other White House staffers. Still, she has special insight on how the president’s mind ticks. And during a Saturday appearance on MSNBC, Omarosa said that Trump is in the throes of a “psychotic episode.”
Manigault-Newman told host Alex Witt, “You know, I really feel bad for those who are left. Because the reality is, is Donald’s going to turn to anyone and blame everyone for his loss except for himself. Certainly Vice President Pence is going to be on the receiving end of Donald Trump’s wrath, and it’s erratic, it’s intense, and at many times it makes absolutely no sense.”
The former Apprentice contestant continued, “I think Donald Trump is going through a psychotic episode. I think that he has come to terms with his loss, but his arrogance, his ego will not allow him to accept that he is not going to be President come January.”
Omarosa finished her comments by saying, “This is not ‘The Apprentice’, this is not a reality show. The American people need true leadership, not a reality TV host, which Donald Trump is reverting to.”
