Omarosa Claims Trump N-Word Tape Likely To Be Released Next Month
Omarosa Manigault Newman claims the alleged tape recording where President Donald Trump uses the N-word will likely be released this October.
Former White House Office of Public Liaison employee, Omarosa Manigault Newman, made an appearance on Good Day L.A. to speak about the alleged tape where President Trump reportedly uses the N-word.
“I believe the people who have it will release it around the midterms,” she told the show’s host, explaining that those who have it will want to do the most damage possible to the President.
Manigault Newman has previously claimed the audio was recorded during the president’s time as host of NBC’s The Apprentice, where she was also a contestant.
For years, she defended Mr.Trump against allegations that he was racist, telling Fox News in a June 2016 interview that Trump “certainly is not a racist. He doesn’t have issues with people of color.”
She changed her tune in her 2018 book, Unhinged, when she accused the president’s administration of debating how they would handle the backlash if the infamous N-word tape were ever released. She was also quoted by Fox News as saying:
“I said absolutely not, this is a man who is not racist until I heard the tape of him using the N-word […] Once I heard Donald Trump say the N-word, it changed everything,” she continued. “Donald Trump is unequivocally a racist.”
Trump has gone on the record, via Twitter, to deny any such tape exists, tweeting, in part, “I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have.”
