The owner of a coffee shop in Ohio has the following message for potential customers who voted for President Joe Biden: “Don’t buy our coffee, it’s not for you.”
Adam Newbold posted a 14-minute video March 19 on the website Rumble in which he also pushed the discredited conspiracy theory that the election was rigged against Donald Trump, saying,” If you believe there was nothing wrong with this election … don’t buy our coffee. It’s not for you.”
Newbold is a retired Navy Seal who lives in the northeast Ohio town of Lisbon, population just under 3,000. His company website says he first became enamored with the taste of great coffee while serving in Colombia. He named his company C4 Coffee; C4 is the name of a specific formulation of plastic explosive. He also runs a company called Advanced Training Group Worldwide, which claims to consult for federal agencies, law enforcement and the military.
In the video Newbold says that he was at the U.S. Capitol during the insurrectionist riot to support the twice-impeached, one-term Trump, but he denies that he engaged in any criminal activity that day. He says that while he was on the Capitol steps – which was illegal that day – he “witnessed a very volatile situation that is an absolute miracle it wasn’t more deadly.” He says, “I was there, I witnessed the patriotic angry Americans chanting, ‘USA, USA.'”
Newbold also says in the video that he doesn’t want to sell his coffee to those who believe in gender transformation or kneeling to the American flag as a form of protest.
“If you feel that America is on the right track and there’s nothing wrong with gender neutral, don’t know which bathroom to use, use whichever bathroom you feel like during the day … don’t buy our coffee ’cause it’s not for you.”
