President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama spent eight years in the White House and now they are taking a much-deserved vacation and they look chill AF.
Washington DC’s former first family were spotted this week vacationing in Palm Springs followed by a trip to the British Virgin Islands.
A Twitter user captured footage of the family as they started a vacation at the holiday home of billionaire Richard Branson. The former US president and his wife were escorted by police and secret service agents.

The stylish Barack cheerfully said hello to those who had come to see him and replied “thank you so much” after someone wished him a happy holiday.
It’s not clear if the couple were on Necker and Moskito, the two massive islands owned by Virgin’s billionaire founder. He was likely on the island when he issued a statement condemning President Donald Trump’s executive order that bans travel from seven Muslim countries and blocks refugee applications for three months.

“President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities across the country,” the statement read. “In his final official speech as President, he spoke about the important role of citizen and how all Americans have a responsibility to be the guardians of our democracy — not just during an election but every day.”
“Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize, and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”
“With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion.”
Barack and Michelle were spotted wearing flip flops and sunglasses as they relaxed on their much deserved vacation.
