NBA Megastar Stephen Curry Says He Can't Wait to Support Kamala Harris

During an Olympics press conference in Paris, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry said that he can't wait to return the support Kamala Harris has given him.

Kamala Harris moved around quite a bit in her childhood but has always considered herself to be from Oakland, California and is a vocal supporters of the Golden State Warriors. The coach of the Warriors, Steve Kerr, has been quite open about his political beliefs as has his star point guard Curry.

Curry answered mostly basketball questions during the presser, but when asked about Harris, he responded, "It’s a very interesting time for our country, for sure. Vice President Harris is primed to bring her energy to this campaign and, hopefully, if she’s on the ticket, winning the election, it’s a big deal, to say the least."

The future Hall of Fame player continued

"She represents the Bay Area. She’s been a big supporter of us, so I want to give that energy right back to her. ... This is a very monumental next couple of months for the direction where we’re headed. Hopefully, this is a great way to do our part to continue unifying our country with how sports brings a lot of people together. For her, in this moment, knowing what’s ahead, it’s all about positive energy and optimism, knowing how divided our country is right now. [I’m] just excited for the journey ahead for her."
