Nancy Pelosi Mocks President Trump’s Manhood
Shortly after a public fight with Donald Trump over the border wall with Mexico, Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi returned to the Capitol and harshly criticized the president in a private meeting with House Democrats earlier today.
Trump “must have said the word ‘wall’ 30 times,” said Pelosi, according to multiple sources in the room, who were quoted in a a Politico report. “I was trying to be the mom,” she added, but “it goes to show you: you get into a tinkle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.”
And then, Pelosi went for the kill.
“It’s like a manhood thing with him — as if manhood can be associated with him,” Pelosi said. Adding fuel to the fire, Pelosi said, “It’s a “cultural phenomenon…” that “the fate of our country [is] in the hands of this person.”
President Donald Trump, Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer openly sparred with each other over the border wall Tuesday at a press event in the Oval Office.
Nearly one-quarter of the federal government will run out of money on December 21 unless a bipartisan agreement is reached on Trump’s border wall.
“If we don’t get what we want … I will shut down the government,” Trump said. “I am proud to shut down the government for border security. … I will take the mantle … for shutting down the government,” according to the Politico report.
The Democratic leadership vehemently disagreed with the president. “You will not win,” Pelosi said.
“The Trump shutdown is something that can be avoided and that the American people do not need at this time of economic uncertainty, and people losing jobs and the market in a mood and the rest,” Pelosi said after the meeting. “It is a luxury — the Trump shutdown is a luxury that the American people cannot afford.”
