Movie Critic Trump Upset About Brad Pitt Speech and a South Korean Movie Winning Best Picture

When Donald Trump holds a rally in front of his adoring fans he know that he can pretty much talk about anything. The crowds at his rallies are eating out of his hand and are ready to cheer regardless of whatever the topic may be.

Trump held his latest rally on Thursday night in Colorado Springs. With seemingly little to talk about politically, the President decided to talk about pop culture. According to Trump, Parasite shouldn’t have won for best Oscar and “little” Brad Pitt wasn’t all that impressive either.

The President began his rant by going in on the film Parasite. He told the crowd:

“How bad were the Academy Awards this year? And the winner is a movie from South Korea. What was that all about? We got enough problems with South Korea, with trade. On top of it, they give them the best movie of the year? Was it good? I don’t know. Let’s get Gone With the Wind, can we get Gone With the Wind back please? Sunset Boulevard? So many great movies. The winner is from South Korea. I thought it was best foreign film. Best foreign movie.”

While accepting his best supporting actor award, Brad Pitt made a crack about John Bolton not testifying during the impeachment hearings.

Trump fired back at Pitt’s criticism, saying, “Then you have Brad Pitt, I was never a fan of his. A wise guy. He is a little wise guy. Best foreign movie. No, it was — this has never happened before. Anyway.”
