“Mitch, I Love You, But:” Trump Begs McConnell To Avenge Him For Russian Collusion Proponents
On Saturday, President Trump retweeted a strange tweet from a Federalist editor that claims Sen. Mitch McConnell is not doing anything about “the Russian collusion hoax.” In the tweet, the President lets McConnell know that he loves him, but if he continued to ignore the hoax that it could cost McConnell the election in November. “Mitch McConnell has spent years pretending as though the Russian collusion hoax never happened. If he thinks he’s going to keep the Senate majority and confirm more judges without addressing the hoax and holding the hoaxers accountable, he’s lost his mind,” Sean Davis said.
Mitch, I love you, but this is 100% true. Time is running out. Get tough and move quickly, or it will be too late. The Dems are vicious, but got caught. They MUST pay a big price for what they have done to our Country. Don’t let them get away with this! @LindseyGrahamSC https://t.co/PplfqTJdHc

Trump would add his own comments saying, “Mitch, I love you, but this is 100% true. Time is running out. Get tough and move quickly, or it will be too late. The Dems are vicious but got caught. They MUST pay a big price for what they have done to our Country. Don’t let them get away with this!” Trump tagged Sen. Lindsey Grahm, as well.
Twitter was very stunned at the President’s tweet and took to Twitter to express themselves.
Trump desperate to distract from this:
Under Obama/Biden:
H1N1 virus 2009 to 2010: 12,469 deaths in US.
EBOLA 2014-2016: Two deaths on US soil.Under Trump:
Coronavirus 2020: Nearly 85,000 Americans dead in just 2 months plus US economy has collapsedTrump FAILED our nation!

Some Americans see Trump’s pleading to Sen. McConnell as Trump’s way of finding a distraction from what Al Gore called a “botched reopening” of the country. Trump’s overall response to the coronavirus has been criticized and he has not been shy about how that makes him feel. As the country starts to reopen and we get closer to November, we will see if Mitch McConnell fulfills Trump’s request or if he will let the chips fall where they may.
