Minority Leader McCarthy: If GOP Doesn’t Win in 2020, They May Never Win Again
There are plenty of Democrats who have been itching to judge Donald Trump since November of 2016. They will get their chance in just 4 short months. And according to nearly every recent polls, they will be casting their vote against the GOP incumbent.
The election will be important for a number of different reasons. The makeup of the country is dramatically changing and that seems to be favoring those on the left. GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy wants to make sure those on the right are voting as well. He told Fox News on Thursday that if Republicans lose the election in 2020, they may never win again.
The California congressman made the comments while speaking with host Sean Hannity. He told Hannity, “You’re right about this being an important election, but it’s more important than you’ve watched in the past.”
Kevin McCarthy just doesn’t get it. People are scared. People are dying. People are unemployed. And instead of doing something to help, Kevin is doing what politicians do best — playing games. Elect me and you will send a real leader to Wasington.

McCarthy then alluded to Democrats changing laws to make voting more accessible for all Americans. “Because if we do not win this election, I don’t know we’ll ever have an opportunity to win it again, because they will change the rules of the game. How we vote, they will change.”
The Trump surrogate ended his segment with an obvious appeal to the Republican base. “We want to focus on bringing this country back, rebuilding it, restoring it, and renewing it,” he said. “And that means law and order, and justice. We want to focus on bringing this country back, rebuilding it, restoring it, and renewing it. And that means law and order, and justice.”
