Mike Lindell is stuggling, by all accounts. He’s recently put on yet another big event that promised — and failed to deliver — evidence of election fraud. Now he has reportedly reached the point where he’s forced to start selling off assets — including a private plane — in order to cover his legal costs.
Lindell is being sued by Dominion Voting Systems for falsely claiming that the company changed the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election, and the costs of fending off the defamation suit must be adding up, along with the costs of continuing to produce ‘documentaries,’ hold events, and otherwise continue to support the Big Lie.
Now, according to Raw Story, he’s been forced to sell his private plane, and a former team member, Joshua Merritt, says that it’s last-ditch effort to stay (proverbially) above water.
Merritt says the plane had been out of commission previously, and that Lindell is unloading it now because “He just started raising money for the lawsuit by Dominion.”
Lindell has not been deterred, however, from continuing to make his unsubstantiated election claims. RedVoiceMedia recently hosted a video of him again suggesting that Donald Trump would be reinstated to the presidency, despite the fact that this is not an option under the U.S. Constitution, and the fact that his previous prediction, that this would occur immediately after his symposium, did not come true.
“Now I want to say something, when you when you steal, when you steal an election, you don’t just steal an election and we go on, and we’re gonna sit here and go, Okay, let’s wait for 2024. I’ll tell you what, it’s Trump 2021. That’s what it is. 2021. If we don’t solve 2020, there is no 2022 and 2024.”
It’s not clear how many of his assets Lindell will have to sell off before he accepts that 2020 is already “solved.”
