Michigan Woman Reportedly Shoots/Kills Guard Who Asked Her to Wear Mask
Michigan has become one of the hot beds for people protesting against COVID-19 restrictions. Last week, armed demonstrators stormed the state’s capital. The President helped to fan the flames weeks ago by tweeting out a call to “liberate Michigan.”
Many states are urging customers to wear masked in order to go into grocery stores. When a security guard at a Flint, Michigan Family Dollar told a female that she must have a mask to enter the store, she reportedly came back and shot the guard in the face, killing him.
Former Chair of the Democratic Coalition, Jon Cooper tweeted, “A security guard at a Family Dollar store in Michigan asked a woman to put on a state-mandated mask before she could come in. She spit in his face, then came back later with her father and shot him in the head, killing him.”

The Detroit News says of the incident:
”Michigan State Police 1st Lt. David Kaiser said Sunday that detectives are investigating a flood of reports on social media from people who say the violence sparked when the guard told a customer he had to wear a mask, a policy set forth by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.”
Michigan Police have yet to release the name of the man who was killed in the incident or the woman who allegedly shot him. He was a married father of 8 and the family has set up a Go Fund Me page that can be found here
