Michael Flynn Is Still Trying to Convince Donald Trump to Declare Martial Law

President Donald Trump pardoned his former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn less than a month ago and in the span of a few short weeks Flynn has emerged as one of Trump’s loudest cheerleaders in his seditious plot to reverse the 2020 election and overthrow the federal government.

On December 2, Flynn demanded that Trump declare martial law and suspend the Constitution to prevent President-Elect Joe Biden from taking office. A week later, Flynn said that former President Barack Obama “should be afraid” of him, in what many perceived as a not-so-veiled threat.

Fast-forward to Thursday.

During an appearance on Newsmax, a pro-Trump conservative media outlet, Flynn repeated debunked conspiracy theories about supposedly corrupted voting machines and – for a second time – urged Trump to deploy the military on American soil.

“There is no way in the world we are going to be able to move forward as a nation. He could immediately, on his order, seize every single one of these machines, on his order,” said Flynn.

“He could order the, within the swing states, if he wanted to, he could take military capabilities, and he could place those in states and basically rerun an election in each of those states. I mean, it’s not unprecedented,” Flynn continued. “These people are out there talking about martial law like it’s something that we’ve never done. Martial law has been instituted 64 times.”

Trump cannot do that, and it has never been done.

“So I’m not calling for that,” Flynn added. “We have a constitutional process – we clearly have a constitutional process, I think you highlighted some of that in your previous segment – that has to be followed.”

It was, by holding an election.
