Michael Cohen: Jared Kushner Will Be the First Family Member Trump Throws Under the Bus but He Won’t Be the Last

Donald Trump is a small, petty and insecure man. And in his mind, anything given to someone in his orbit should have been given to him instead. Trump, who is struggling to find a publisher for his memoirs is reportedly upset that Jared Kushner has been given a book deal.

When in the White House, Trump gave his son-in-law a number of different responsibilities. Kushner was asked to do anything from handling the COVID-19 pandemic to making peace in the Middle East. But if Trump encounters legal trouble, Michael Cohen says, Kushner will be the first one he throws under the bus.

Cohen was responding to a new CNN article about Ivanka Trump and her husband distancing themselves from her father. The former Trump lawyer tweeted, “as Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s relationship strain, you can bet that Donald will throw Jared ‘under the bus’ as the DA’s case heats up! Stay tuned folks…family fireworks about to be ignited for our viewing entertainment!!!”

In the past, Cohen has predicted that Trump would implicate all of his children to save himself. He told MSNBC back in May, “He’s going to say, ‘Don Jr. handled that, Ivanka handled that. Melania. Don’t take me. Take Melania.’ He’s going to tell them to take everyone except for himself. That’s just the kind of guy he is.”
