Melania Would Not Move Into The White House Without Renegotiating Prenup: New Book Reveals
A preview of a new book called, The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump has been printed by Washington Post on Friday. According to reporter Mary King, The First Lady wished to “amend her financial arrangement with Trump” without first moving into the White House. She writes, “She wanted proof in writing that when it came to financial opportunities and inheritance, Barron would be treated as more of an equal to Trump’s oldest three children.”
According to CNN correspondent Kate Bennett who has also written about Melania Trump in a book claims to have heard varying figures regarding the prenup. “In my reporting, the numbers ranged from $1 million more up to $20 million more. The rumor mill is awash in what the exact final amount was.”
Melania’s business savvy no doubt impressed her husband much think since it is something he has promoted himself. Bennett wrote, “They are both fighters and survivors and prize loyalty over almost all else. … Neither the very public Trump nor the very private Melania has many close friends. Their loner instincts filter into their own marriage.”
Melania has been getting more involved in her husband’s politics lately with mixed results. Trump seems to believe that his wife can help his poll numbers because she is more popular than him. Trump is behind Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden in the latest polls and it seems the President could use all the help he can get. It will be interesting to see how Melania will be used in this year’s election.
