Melania Uses Recent Terrorist Attack to Complain About Gossip Being Spread About Her
Donald Trump didn’t do much to stop last week’s terrorist attack in Washington DC. In fact, according to Senator Ben Sasse, the President was delighted about the situation. And, the First Lady, says CNN, was busy doing a photo shoot while the incident was occurring.

This morning, Melania Trump released a statement discussing how horrified she was about the attack. And in her statement, the First Lady made sure to complain about the gossip being spread about her.
The statement read, “I am disappointed and disheartened with what happened last week. I find it shameful that surrounding these tragic events there has been salacious gossip, unwarranted personal attacks, and false misleading accusations on me – from people who are looking to be relevant and have an agenda. This time is solely about healing our country and its citizens. It should not be used for personal gain.”
The First Lady also made sure to mourn the deaths of both police officers who died as well as a terrorist who stormed the Capitol. “Most recently, my heart goes out to: Air Force Veteran, Ashli Babbit, Benjamin Philips, Kevin Greeson, Rosanne Boyland, and Capitol Police Officers, Brian Sicknick and Howard Liebengood. I pray for their families comfort and strength during this difficult time.”
